Featured Project: Emerson Manila – LEED Consulting!

Fox is currently providing LEED Consulting services for an 11 story office building in Metro Manila (Makati).
It’s a great opportunity to affect positive change in an area of the world that can really benefit from sustainable design.  Manila is a vibrant, growing city of 12 million people.  There’s a lot to like about Manila – impressive architecture and a very friendly, talented population: but there are also a lot of problems – out of date infrastructure, lack of green space, overcrowding and pollution.  LEED certification as a trend could be a
great thing for this country.  With the amount of construction under way in Manila, anything that architects
and builders can do to improve the environment would be welcome.  Unfortunately there are currently very
few LEED registered buildings in the Philippines – our project is one of about a dozen registered.

We are working with a very talented team of architects, engineers and managers, including JCLI
International Inc, Archion Architects, Meinhardt Engineering and The Adrianse Group.  We are
shooting for LEED Gold.  Hope to have the project certified sometime in 2013.
