New Project Review – Emerson Regulator Technologies

Fox Architects is currently designing the new headquarters for  Emerson Regulator Technologies in McKinney Texas.  The formal announcement was last Tuesday in the City of McKinney.

Regulator Technologies is a part of the Emerson Process Management group.  Among their many products they are perhaps best know for the Fisher brand of valves – the gold standard for pressure regulating valves since before the turn of the century.  Regulator Technologies manufactures and sells products globally.  Their current headquarters is in McKinney.  They are planning a relocation to a new development the city of McKinney has named “the Gateway Site”.

This project includes a 3 story corporate office building, lab spaces and storage/shell areas.  Fox is currently in the schematic design phase.  Key design drivers include energy efficient design, flexibility and corporate identity.  2 conceptual images of the project are shown below:
