Ingrid Piazza

Designer

Drawing inspiration from her background in music, Ingrid is a sound and acoustics enthusiast who is fascinated by the relationship these have with the built environment. She believes spaces become true works of architecture when they are brought to life by the people who inhabit them and the unique sonic experiences they create. Ingrid enjoys the early stages of the design process, where research, program development, and exploration allow ideas to evolve through iteration. Drawn to architecture for its ability to unite communities, she is particularly interested in advancing accessibility through design, with a focus on acoustics and neurodivergent users. She hopes to continue contributing to this field through her research and writing. Outside the office, Ingrid enjoys volunteering and being involved with organizations that support community development, equitable access to design, and diversity within the architecture profession.
Ingrid earned her Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis in 2026, which built on her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Pratt Institute, completed in 2019. Her education was enriched through study abroad experiences in Copenhagen and Barcelona, complemented by four years of professional interior design experience in New York and New Jersey.
