Kristine Ornstein

Architectural Designer

Kristine has earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture (MArch) at Washington University in St. Louis, MO in 2022, a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from University of Washington in Seattle, WA in 2007, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Kansas City Art Institute with Major in Ceramics and Fiber Art in 2001. During this time, Kristine received an artist residency at the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, MT and at Pottery Northwest in Seattle, WA.

Her work experience is focused on design for retail store-front window display and interior design of retail spaces for several department stores including Macy’s, Akira, and Anthropologie. Kristine assisted in the launch and design development of new retail stores for Macy’s in Seattle, WA and Anthropologie in Chicago, IL. Additionally, she was commissioned to create a public art piece for the city of Helena, MT.

In her free time, Kristine enjoys taking bike rides with her family and creating sculptural art work.
